Your Website
The
next step will be to create your website. There are several options
when it comes to creating a website.
Website Templates - There are many sites that have free
templates for you to use, please note most of these free template
sites do not allow you to use their templates for commercial use.
We do not recommend free site templates as they are generally low
quality, not very professional and everybody has the same design.
In order to be taken seriously you need to have a professional web
site design. You can play around with a free
website design if you like.
If you do want to build your web site with a web template consider
buying a web template from
Hoover Web Templates. Web templates do get you up and running
faster because all of the design work is already done for you. Our
Web Template Provider Directory
has web templates that you can purchase and and sites that sell
professional web templates. You should also look for a WYSIWYG (What
You See Is What You Get) editor, such as Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia
Dreamweaver, or Netfusion.
Web Designer - Another option is to contract someone to build
one for you with the specifications you have in mind. If you aren't
sure which option is right for you, check out our Web
Designer Directory. When requesting a quote, be sure to Include
what type of site you want (i.e. newsletter, service, product, or
another idea), if you will need to take orders online, how many
pages you would like, if you have a domain and host in place, and
how soon you would like your site to be online.
